Todd Quartararo, Executive Director: Todd Quartarao has more than 18 years of public relations and founded Quartararo & Associates (Q&A) in 1997. Before starting Q&A, he worked on national accounts at Bozell Worldwide, Foote Cone & Belding, and Alcone Marketing Group. He has worked with clients including Taco Bell, Sprint PCS and Action Sports Retailer. Quartararo brings his account experience along with an entertainment, fitness and lifestyle focus to Q&A. Since the start of Q&A, Quartararo has attracted some of the nation’s most recognized brands that have tapped the agency for launch campaigns including Bloomingdale’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Ted Baker London, Cirque du Soleil, Hermes and The Sports Club/LA. In addition to his work at Q&A, he is also the co-founder of the Newport Beach Film Festival and The Orange County Film Society. Quartararo’s focus with the Festival and film society is on media relations, strategic partnerships, event production and sponsorship development. He has secured relationships on behalf of the Festival with such celebrated brands as Absolut Vodka, Jaguar, Lexus, Jet Blue, Stella Artois, Land Rover and Perrier. The Festival, now in its 15th year, attracts more than 53,000 people annually and is recognized by Daily Variety as on of the top 25 film festivals in the nation. Quartararo received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge and is the recipient of several national and international awards for his work for the Newport Beach Film Festival.
Leslee Schaffer, Creative Advisor: Leslee Schaffer is founding principal of the San Diego-based Full Circle Services Consulting, specializing in the arts, design, entertainment and non-profit sectors. Her 20+ years of experience support a broad client base ranging from architecture/design firms and developers to film and television production companies to independent artists and non-profit organizations. Her ‘full circle’ philosophy is clearly reflected in her wide-ranging proficiency, including event production and management, public relations and marketing, sponsor relations, exhibition curation, script and copy writing, public speaking and strategic planning and partnering. Serving as consulting Executive Director of the San Diego Architectural Foundation from 2005-2013, Leslee is credited with breathing new life into the once dormant organization by restructuring what is now the critically acclaimed and nationally recognized design awards program, Orchids & Onions, and through the introduction of numerous innovative new practices and programs including the SDAF Film Series, PechaKucha Nights, Inside the Design Studio, Orchids, Onions & Opportunities: An Interactive Exhibition and architect and designer-guided design tours, among others. Leslee was born in Providence, Rhode Island and attended University of South Florida. Besides her work, her passions include travel, photography, film and theater, experimenting in the kitchen, yoga, her wonderful friends and her black cat, Lucky.

With PR work-experience at a top buzz agency in New York City, Cory has worked on high profile accounts in the entertainment, lifestyle, hospitality and fashion industries. She has helped execute public relations strategies for companies such as Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas, Ted Baker London, The La Costa Film Festival, Tommy Hilfiger and The Newport Beach Film Festival as well as many top restaurants and night clubs. She maintains excellent relationships with regional and national media outlets including USA Today, US Weekly, People Magazine, Life and Style Weekly, OK! Magazine, San Diego Magazine, Riviera Orange County and Riviera San Diego. Born in New York and raised in Los Angeles, Cory graduated from Boston University with a dual degree in communications and political science.

Scott McDonald, Advertising Creative: Scott is a graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California and has worked as a creative in advertising and entertainment marketing since the mid 1990s. He is currently V.P. Creative Director at RPA advertising in Santa Monica, CA. Scott’s client roster includes MGM Resorts International, Newport Beach Film Festival, California’s anti-smoking campaign, Pivot, Syfy, Discovery, Hawaii International Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, MTV Networks, Target, Land Rover, Sony, Westin Hotels, and Tommy Hilfiger.

Traci Knight, Art Director: Traci has more than 16 years of design experience. Knight specializes in company branding and assists companies in enhancing their image through print materials and website design. Knight has a BA in graphic design and an MBA with an eCommerce focus.
